Group Therapy
Group therapies are strategic forms of psychotherapy. Group therapies bring together multiple clients with similar psychological experiences as a way of fostering healthy peer interaction and communication. Group therapies emphasize the improvement of social skills through the unique use of group dynamics. Fostering a safe space to discuss typically stigmatized mental health issues normalizes these experiences through constructive conversation. Clients learn from one another’s mistakes, successes, feelings, and frustrations through constructive conversation.
